Welcome to the Old Westminster Citizens' Association |
|
This is the website for the Association of Old Boys of Westminster City School (OWCA), located at 55, Palace Street, London SW1. This flourishing association was founded in 1908 and in 2008 we shall celebrate our centenary. The OWCA was originally established to provide sporting and social actvies for former students of the School and continues to be a focus of interest for Old Westminster Citizens(as we call Old Boys) and staff. A formal dinner is held at the School in March every year and the emphasis on sport is continued through the Old Westminster Citizens' Football Club. (However in 2008 we shall have our Cenetary Dinner at the Imperial Hotel in London on Friday 28 March - see Key dates for details). The OWCA maintains very close links with the School and, through its Trust Fund, provides finance to support a number of activities and projects.
This site has been developed by OWCA as a means of providing current news and information about former members of the school community throughout the world. We also aim to reunite friends with each other and Westminster City School. News and information on this site is updated regularly, so Old Westminster Citizens, please keep us on your favourites list and visit us regularly to see whats happening. We recognise the importance of ensuring that only Old Westminster Citizens and friends of the School have access to this web site, so the first time you sign in you will be asked to register. Once this has been checked, you will be given full access to the Site very quickly and be able to contact all your friends who have also signed on. The more Old Boys who register with the site, the more contacts you will be able to establish, so please ask your friends to sign up.
If you have a friend from Westminster City School who you think would be interested in visiting this site, but is not in the directory, please contact them and ask them to register. We look forward to hearing from them.
